The tour started off in Myanmar's former political and still economically most important city Yangon (or 'Rangoon' as the Brits called it during colonial times).Main attraction in Yangon is the famous Shwe Dagon Pagoda – one of the buddhist world's largest and most sacred stupas. We met nuns (in pink) on their traditional food run while – as usual – the men (monks in red) were chilling out on the temple premises.
