Having spent 7.5 years traveling around the world, visiting over 100 countries, I have always set aside my summers for adventures in North America. Several years ago I set a goal of visiting and photographing all 104 national parks in the United States and Canada. In the summer of 2014 I set to to visit many of the national parks of Western Canada. Three months and 12,000 miles (19,300 kilometers) later, I had photographed 14 Canadian National Parks in 5 different provinces and territories, and also was able to explore and photograph the places in between. My journey took me to some of Canada’s most popular national parks (Banff) and some of the least visited (Nahanni). At every park I found a natural beauty which are among the greatest places on Earth.
