“The lungs of the Earth” or Borneo is an island off the coast of Malaysia shared by 3 countries, Malaysia, Brunei and Indonesia. The island also contains one of the oldest rainforests in the world (140 million years old), hence making it the last few refuge for endangered species such as the Borneo orangutan.
