Digital Nomad Lifestyle. What, How and Why?
“You can make more friends in two months by becoming interested in other people than you can in two years by trying to get other people interested in you.” Isn't this true? :) And traveling enables you do just that, make new friends. Thank you for sharing it here, Tomas.
@peachananr Yes Pete, people skills are the most important. Traveling enables you not only to meet new people but discover yourself and change your mindset.
@tomaslau Totally. That's what I like about traveling (solo especially), you meet a lot more people and there's always something to learn from each one of them. Travelers I met actually shaped who I am today. Ironic isn't it? A stranger you spent your time with for 3 days can actually have more impact to you than most friends at home. I took the leap to quit and become a freelance just because I met a freelance illustrator during my trip in Australia. She has done it for years and she can still travel around. :)
@peachananr Yes, I can highly relate to this, have met so many cool people and I feel like they have been for years in my life. Love learning about their ways to success, their mindset and attitude. Life starts once you step out of your comfort zone :)
@tomaslau Haha. Very well put. It's scary at first, to challenge your comfort zone, but the feeling after you conquered it is just.. too hard to passed by.
